East Somerset Society of Model & Experimental Engineers
Will be providing train rides all day on their half mile track which spans the on site lake crossing two bridges on its journey.  You can even be dropped off at the lake if you wish to watch the boats being sailed on the lake.

Terry Fry
Will also be running his 1907 Stanley Steam car, model 10HP

Sweetnap Raceway
Racing large scale Radio control cars around on a grass track.

No Limit RC UK
Racing 1/8th scale hpi nitro savage trucks over jumps and stunts plus some 1/10th scale electric trucks as well.

UK Tank Club
Running 1/6 & 1/16th scale armoured & soft skin radio controlled vehicles which range from 3 to 6 foot in length & weigh up to 200 kgs.

Tank Command
Running a fleet of radio controlled model tanks with a laser tag system.


Adam Best
Will be running his 4" scale model Foster Agricultural Engine built in 2001 around the grounds.

Alan Cunningham
4" scale traction engine.

F1 Experience UK - Have a go on this Formula 1 simulator and experience the speed of a racing round the world’s major race tracks

Model Rail Car Association
Racing cars on a rail track, similar to scalextrix but larger. The engines are all diesel based and some run very fast!

Model Hovercraft Association
Design and build their own models which you will be able to see in motion as they will be whizzing them around outside on a tarmac surface and the boating pool.

Cornwall Model Racing Club, MMR Largescale

The Mendip Model Motor Racing club will be taking turns racing their R/C cars on display area E4

BritFlight Ltd
Recently launched in the UK are excited to be attending the South West Model Engineering Show, their first show!  They will have their full range of electric flight aircraft and unique Helitrainer training rig on display which will be available to purchase at a special show price.  They will also have their range of electric packs available to purchase and they hope to bring along a few "in-development" products to demonstrate their ever expanding range!

Horizon Hobby UK 
'Gain an experience of flying' Horizon Hobby UK will be on-site offering you the chance to have a go on their fusilage aeroplanes and experience the thrill of flying a radio controlled aeroplane.

Tank Command - Have a go on an electric tank and shoot down the enemy with it's fitted laser system

Just Like the Real Thing - Dr Pete Waterman O.B.E

This year Mr Pete Waterman OBE the well known music producer, television personality and enthusiast for railways both real and model will be on hand to offer his expertise and top tips in railway modelling. He will also be promoting and signing his new book 'JUST LIKE THE REAL THING'. The book includes a mixture of detailed modelling pictures and stunning and inspirational examples of Pete Waterman's layout and models, showing what the reader can hope to achieve with time, practice and good advice.

onducting demonstrations and workshops all day over the two days instructing those in attendance how to build and develop their own models.

One of the largest gatherings of Daleks will be at this years Show - On Sunday there will be 'Audience with the Daleks' show - click here and take a look!

West Sussex Area Group 'N' Gauge Society
Will be running their
West Sussex modular layout (N Gauge).

Buckinghamshire Garden Railway
Will be running their '
Whiteleaf light Railway layout' (as pictured on the homepage).

K & M Models
Will be displaying their World War 2 Russian Front 00 gauge layout with Steam & diesel and digital sound.

Railway Nameplates UK
Will have a massive display of British Railways totem station signs 

Terry Jones (Member of Blackdown Radio Control Flying Club)
Will be bringing his 1
5ft Airship run on industrial helium - see it in action floating around the halls.

Armortek Military Feature Area Incorporating; Artmortek, South West Tank Club & The UK Tank Club - will been joining together to re-create a batteground of tanks driving over and around obstacles as well as firing at them.  They will be firing blanks but the effects and the noise is very realistic so make sure you bring your ear plugs!

Avon & Bristol Woodturners
Will have 2 lathes operating with club members demonstrating the art of wood turning.

Century UK Ltd
Will be running R/C helicopter displays throughout each day and you can also have a go on their flight simulators which will be set up on their stand.

Games Workshop

Will be presenting their ranges of Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Lord of The Rings miniatures and games, with demonstrations and participations, aided by several of the local Gaming Club Network member clubs.

M C S Miniatures

Will have tabletop wargaming in motion.


South Somerset Wargames Group    
This wargaming group from Somerset will be putting on a interactive demonstration for the public as well as a a 2 day tournament (tickets can be bought in advance, please email emmac@nwe.co.uk for more information.)

Shepton Mallet Drifters
Will have their 5' x 4' tabletop paddling pool for small r/c boats which the kids can play on and will also be building model boats 3 and 4' long out of cardboard!

Slots in Weymouth
Have a go - slot car racing - Raising funds for RNLI.


Wessex Wyvern Gaming Club
Will have tabletop wargaming in motion.

A huge display of horse drawn model vehicles.

Fairground Diorama with N Gauge Railway.

Will have a wonderful display of fairground models in 1/24th, 1/48th and 1/76th scale along with many loco's in 00 scale.

The Stirling Engine Society
Will be putting on a special low temperature engine display.

Living in Miniature
Fabulous display of 1/12 scale scratch built model caravans and barge.

Chippenham Model Car Club
Live battery powered  1/10th scale touring RC car racing in the Sedgmoor Hall.
